Jayson Dombele is a 18-year-old entrepreneur and C.E.O. of The Scaling Sauce, a marketing agency that helps its clients scale their brand.

He’s the author of The Symptom’s Signal, A book which focuses on teaching people how to identify their passion and build an empire while monetizing what they love.

Jayson’s interest in the marketing industry is because of his distinct ability to think of an idea, execute it, and scale it into an established brand.

He also saw the need to create an agency that serves business owners and agencies unparalleled value in an ethical way.

A lot of marketing agencies utilize bots and automation to help scale their clients business; most times, this results in 0% R.O.I. for the client.

The team at The Scaling Sauce operate with a mission statement that revolves solely around authenticity, client happiness, and results!

Hitting Milestones…

Jayson has achieved a lot with the scaling sauce.

From day one, the Scaling sauce has documented its work and progress on every client. With this, it’s been able to put together case studies about a lot of industries.

These case studies are used as a reference and to get positive returns for each client.

Jayson has also been able to give back to society by curating mastermind sessions for over 100+ individuals.

He’s taught these people how to scale and build their online business.

One of Jayson’s most memorable achievements was being invited to the white house. The Scaling sauce was amongst the recognized brands run under African-American Leadership.

Taking a break

When Jayson isn’t building his business, you’ll see him reading books about psychology or business.

Jayson has been meditating and reading his Bible to keep him going. His favorite verse is Philippians 2:4.

It states (ESV): “Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others.”

That’s one of the guidelines Jayson’s team follows to keep the business running ethically.

He also loves spending quality time with his family and playing games on his console.

Jayson’s favorite book so far is “All marketers are liars” by Seth Godin. This book explains the mindset of the end consumer and the marketer. It’s a must for those going into the business of selling.

Learning a few lessons…

I spoke with Jayson sometime ago and asked him how he solves the challenges he faces as a young entrepreneur.

Me: So, Jayson, how do you solve the problems you face as a young entrepreneur?

Jayson: One of the challenges you have is the fact that other kids around you who you’ve been good friends with will throw in negative energy when they see you moving forward.

I had friends talk down on me when things didn’t work out for them and because I haven’t spent time with them like I used to.

I remember times I used to be mad because I thought they were my real friends but showed their true colors when things went well for me. I solved this problem by changing my mindset.

I said to myself; “why look back at them when they are talking down on you.” This is a reason why you shouldn’t associate yourself with these individuals.

If you want a better circle, you will need to change who you walk with.

You need a smaller circle but with like-minded individuals who are looking forward to even brighter futures”.

I also had people talk down on my business or prospects who said they had no interest in working with me, but I still pushed forward because of my mindset! Remember: “your mindset matters”!
