Thank you so much for joining us, Tina! Our readers would love to get to know you a bit better. Can you tell us a bit about your backstory?
Thank you, Stacey! It’s great to be here. My journey into spirituality really kicked off after my spiritual awakening in 2015. Before that, I was doing intuitive readings and spiritual coaching, but everything shifted once I tapped into a deeper understanding of my own soul journey. I started attracting clients dealing with serious chaos, and I realized that my purpose was to help people align with their true selves, release baggage, and find inner peace. It’s been an incredible ride, and I’m so passionate about guiding others through their own transformations.
It sounds like you’ve experienced quite a transformation yourself. Let’s dive into the heart of your work—what is “spiritual chaos,” and how do people know when they’re in it?
Spiritual chaos is that feeling of being totally out of sync with your true self. It shows up when things in your life feel off—like you’re stuck in a cycle, overwhelmed, or constantly battling stress. It’s not just regular life stress; it’s deeper, like your soul is screaming at you to pay attention. It’s important to realize that chaos isn’t a punishment or something to dread. It’s actually a wake-up call—a sign that something in your life is out of alignment and needs to be adjusted.
I love that perspective! So, instead of fearing chaos, people should see it as an opportunity?
Absolutely! Chaos is a messenger. It’s telling you, “Hey, something’s not right here.” The key is to lean in, not run away from it. When chaos shows up, it’s because you’ve reached a point where you can no longer ignore the things in your life that aren’t serving you. If you take the time to explore what’s causing the chaos, you can realign yourself with your soul’s blueprint and move forward stronger and clearer.
That makes so much sense. When someone realizes they’re in chaos, where do they even begin to “unchaos” themselves?
It starts with getting some distance. Step out of the environment that’s creating the chaos, even if it’s just for a few minutes. Go for a walk, sit in nature, or just find a quiet space where you can breathe. Once you’re out of the storm, start journaling. Write down everything that’s swirling around in your mind—why you feel the way you do, what’s weighing on you. And then, ask yourself the “why” questions. Keep peeling back the layers until you get to the root cause. That’s where the magic happens.
I can see how that would help someone break through. Now, your book UnChaos Yourself dives deep into these themes. What inspired you to write it?
Writing UnChaos Yourself was born out of my own journey with chaos, particularly around my relationship with food. For years, I struggled with binge eating to numb out from unprocessed childhood pain. I was achieving success in many areas of life, but I couldn’t get a handle on this one thing. It wasn’t until I really faced that chaos that I began to heal. Then I saw similar patterns with my clients—people were stuck in cycles of chaos but didn’t know why or how to get out. That’s when I knew I had to write the book to guide people through their own process of breaking free and finding peace.
It’s incredible how personal experiences can lead to helping others in such profound ways. Speaking of patterns, you mentioned that many of your clients are trapped in cycles of chaos. What are some of the most common patterns you see?
One of the biggest patterns I see is over-commitment. People are constantly saying “yes” to everything, whether it’s work, family obligations, or social events. They’re so busy that they don’t have time to breathe, let alone reflect on what’s really going on in their lives. Another big one is people-pleasing. It’s where someone is always seeking validation from others, which creates inner chaos because they’re living for external approval instead of staying true to themselves. Both patterns stem from unmet needs or old conditioning that needs to be unraveled.
And how do you guide someone through breaking those patterns?
It all comes down to awareness and self-reflection. First, I help them recognize the patterns and understand where they came from. For example, overcommitment often comes from a fear of not being valued or loved. Once we identify the root cause, we start working on new habits—like learning to say “no” and setting boundaries. It’s also crucial to get out of the environment that perpetuates the chaos, even if it’s just for a short while, so they can get a fresh perspective.
One thing I found so powerful in your work is your focus on forgiveness. How does forgiveness help in unchaosing oneself?
Forgiveness is a huge part of letting go of chaos. When you refuse to forgive, you’re tethering yourself to the past, to that negative energy. It’s like carrying around an anchor that drags you back into the same cycle. Forgiving someone—or yourself—isn’t about excusing the behavior. It’s about freeing yourself. Once you forgive, you’re no longer stuck in that old energy, and you can move forward.
Forgiveness can be tough for many people, though. How do you suggest they start?
Start by acknowledging that holding onto resentment is feeding your ego. It feels good to be “right,” but that’s just your ego talking, not your soul. A great way to begin is with a forgiveness mantra. It could be something simple like, “I release you to your journey, and I release myself to peace.” Say it, even if you don’t fully believe it at first. Over time, repeating this out loud can shift your energy and open the door to forgiveness.
That’s such a beautiful approach. I know you also talk a lot about energy and frequency. Can you explain how these concepts play into chaos and alignment?
Yes! We are all made up of energy, and everything around us is energy, too. Your frequency is the vibration you’re putting out into the world. If you’re stuck in fear, shame, or guilt, your frequency will be low, and you’ll attract more of those negative experiences into your life. But as you work on raising your vibration—through self-care, meditation, forgiveness, and living in alignment with your soul—you start to attract higher-frequency experiences and people. It’s all about the energy you’re putting out there.
So how can someone actively raise their frequency?
One of the easiest ways is through self-care and mindfulness. Take time to do things that nourish your spirit—whether it’s meditating, being in nature, or surrounding yourself with positive people. It’s also important to clear out emotional clutter. That means working through unresolved emotions, letting go of toxic relationships, and practicing gratitude. The more aligned you are with your true self, the higher your frequency becomes, and that’s when you start to see real change.
I love how practical and empowering that sounds. Now, chaos can feel overwhelming, but how can someone use it as a tool for growth?
Chaos is one of the greatest teachers. When it shows up, it’s because you’ve outgrown something in your life, and it’s time to move on. Instead of fearing it, ask yourself, “What is this chaos trying to show me?” Whether it’s a relationship, job, or habit, chaos is the universe’s way of guiding you to something better. It’s up to you to listen, learn, and take action. Every time you navigate through chaos, you build resilience and strengthen your connection to your soul.
Can you share a personal story about how chaos led to growth for you?
My biggest personal chaos came through my battle with binge eating. For years, I used food to numb myself from childhood pain, and it became a constant shadow in my life. I was successful in so many areas, but this one thing was controlling me. When I finally faced it and dug deep into the root cause, it transformed me. That chaos led me to my spiritual awakening, and it’s what drives me to help others unchaos their lives today.
That’s incredibly inspiring. For those reading this and feeling stuck, what’s the first step they can take today to start unchaosing their lives?
The first step is simple: step outside of the chaos. Literally, go for a walk, find a quiet space, and just breathe. Get some distance from whatever is overwhelming you. Then, start journaling. Write down everything that’s bothering you, and keep asking yourself, “Why?” Why do I feel this way? Why is this pattern repeating? Dig deep, and you’ll start uncovering the answers. And most importantly, be gentle with yourself. Healing chaos takes time, but every small step counts.
