I recently had the pleasure of interviewing teacher of consciousness and former fashionista Claudia Navone.
Born in Florence, Claudia spent her career working for illustrious publications such as Elle, The Sunday Times and Harper’s Bazaar.
Following a spontaneous and powerful Spiritual Awakening, she left fashion behind to follow a new path. She divides her time between Florence, London, and Ibiza and travels extensively as a mentor and teacher of the Divine University.
Can you share with us the story of how you decided to pursue this journey – as well as the top lessons you’ve learned?
It was not my decision really…more of a consequence of the radical and unexpected Spiritual Awakening that hit me powerfully in 2006. All of a sudden, all the veils were lifted and there was no more separation between the Spiritual and Physical Worlds. I could see through the many dimensions of light and began to receive visitations from the Enlightened Masters that eventually became my teachers from the spirit world. This was the beginning of an endless journey within my heart and consciousness, as so much needed to shift and transform and I still am a work in progress to this very day.
The top lessons that I have been taught are all lessons of Love&Light.
Firstly, we must learn to open our beautiful hearts as love is the glue that holds absolutly everything in oneness and that can heal us and our relationships with others in the most potent way. Secondly, light is consciousness, and my learning was to discover that we all have a Super Consciousness, an Higher Self. Therefore if we open ourselves up to our Super Consciousness we may be guided in the most positive and highest way in every moment, achieving a new level of clarity on how to operate without fears or doubts. Thirdly we are the creators of our own reality and we must become conscious of taking full responsibility for our own karma and daily thoughts, words and actions if we wish to truly create a life we love. All is energy, and as it has been created, can also be dissolved with ease and grace.
I am still learning all these lessons every given day as the more we learn, the more we discover that there is so much we don’t yet know. Humility is one of our biggest keys on the spiritual path.
Can you tell me about the most inspiring miracle that has happened to you in the past year?
The most inspiring miracle happened when the manuscript of my first book, The Shapeshifter, landed on Bill Gladstone’s desk by a twist of fate. Bill is the literary agent of some of the most well known spiritual writers like Eckhart Tolle and Neale Donald Walsch. It was not an easy journey to have the book published but all, in end, was manifested in ways that I could have never imagined. When we learn to co-create with Spirit so much can materialize in our lives and we may call these wonderful manifestations – miracles!!!
None of us are able to navigate our spiritual journey without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story about that?
I am extremely grateful to my beloved spiritual teacher and friend Qala Sri’ama Phoenix, the founder of The Divine University of which I am now a Mentor. How we met was pure magic. Since childhood, I experienced many mystical encounters with the other side, mainly with Angels. In the period leading to my Awakening in 2006, just a few days before, indeed an Angel appeared to me with a mind-blowing message. At the time I was still engrossed in a successful career in Fashion. I was the well-known fashion director of a glossy magazine. The Angel revealed to me that my entire life was about to change and that soon, I would meet a great teacher that would lead me through every step of my transformation. And so it was…A few days later, I was invited to go to my first ever-spiritual workshop by a close friend where I met Qala. Once the Workshop was over, all the veils were lifted and a few weeks later I chose Qala as my teacher and immerged myself into deep spiritual studies for the next 13 years, that brilliantly supported me to shape shift my consciousness and consequently my own reality. I am so blessed to have Qala as my teacher in the physical world and the Enlightened Masters as my teachers in the spiritual world.
What are the 3 things that most inspire you about 2019 / this moment in time and why?
What truly inspires me is that more and more people are searching for their own spiritual truth and following the awakening of their souls. Also to know that there is a strong movement, especially involving the younger generation that is more and more conscious that something drastic needs to be done to care for Mother Earth, Gaia. And finally I am inspired by the notion that humanity is slowly awakening to the fact that we are all equal…. this is just the humble beginning of a new era of greater awareness. Everyone’s consciousness needs to shift and it is not a quick process, but it is definitely on its way. We must all remain positive and remind ourselves that the darkest moments are always the ones before light breaks through…
Can you advise what is needed to engage more people in The Awakening / spiritual consciousness raising?
Spiritual Awakening comes from within and there is a divine time for every soul to awake. It is not something that we can force upon someone. My personal advice to all awaken souls is to use the power of their hearts and consciousness awareness not to judge others but instead to help and support family and friends that may be in need.
We must learn to be practical with our spirituality, to become the peacemakers as if we are not capable to have peace within our heart or with the ones close to us, what is the chance of this world to find peace? Spirituality must be practiced in every day life not just when we meditate. And all comes from within…. and when a soul is ready will respond to the call…. Nowadays, there are several ways; different spiritual currents that may be chosen to opening ourselves up, as the roads to God are infinite and each soul will find their path as I have found mine…and ultimately, we can only engage others through the love of an open heart.
What is your favorite “Life Lesson / Life Journey Quote”? Can you share a story of how that had relevance to your own life?
I don’t have a favourite…. There are so many life lessons that I had to learn and that I am still learning.
One that could be useful is letting go of trying to control everything in our lives….I used to be a control freak, never leaving the space for the hand of God to paint something truly amazing upon the canvas of my reality…and I must say that everything was much harder then….Nowadays, I am the opposite, leaving in the capable hands of Spirit endless things. I learned that I am not alone, that I am a conscious co-creator supported by the Universe and the Family of Light. As a result, my life is filled with grace and I am free to create in a new way with no more fears. To believe that we are in control is one of the biggest illusions in the collective memory banks of humanity and therefore at least for me, one of the biggest lessons to learn.
In the last five years, what new belief, behavior, or habit has most improved your life?
To truly see the beauty in others, no matter who they are or what they do…Trying not to judge but instead to accept that we are all divine beings as God is inside each one of us. Not always easy but what I am working constantly on every given day…
In the last five years, what have you become better at saying no to (distractions, invitations, etc.)? What new realizations and/or approaches helped? Any other tips?
This question makes me smile because till recently I lived almost as a hermit, hidden within the safe walls of my spiritual cave where I constantly transform myself in order to be able to fulfill my spiritual mission amongst humanity. Since I left the fashion world to embark on my spiritual journey, I lived a retired life following a very strict spiritual discipline. I am basically just re-emerging now and happy to do so, bringing my spiritual gifts back into the world, teaching to many groups about consciousness. But in order to do that I had to shift my own consciousness and open my heart to a much deeper level.
Mine, was quite a radical process but my advice to all of the readers that seek spiritual transformation is that some kind of discipline, sooner or later is needed, as spiritual practices require a bit of work that can take you a very long way… what will return back to you will be always so much more than what you give out. This has been my personal experience.
Please tell us about your new book!
Yes, my first book The Shapeshifter, is coming out on the 16 April!!! Certainly one of the reasons why I am returning into the world. I am actually very grateful and exited to be able to share my life experiences with all of my future readers. The book is like a giant mirror in which many will reflect themselves. It is written like a modern Fairy Tale with plenty of magic, darkness and light, twists and turns. But above all is a book about LOVE, as it is love that we come to reclaim here, in our earthly life and it is love that we all dream of…it is simply the lack of love that provokes our unhappiness, anger, solitude, sadness, unforgiving nature, judgment, just to name a few…. So mine, it is a book of hope, because we are all shape shifters, because we are all so much more that what we think we are…. And it is as well a friendship book that hopefully many will want to pass on to all of their loved ones…
I am also teaching deep and transformative spiritual programs around the world….I just returned from a glorious retreat in the Brazilian Jungle where so much was revealed to us through the channelings of the Enlightened Masters. I am often on the move…. next is London and then Australia…. the world is a beautiful place, our home, and we must learn to respect it as we may respect our own home….
