I’ve been talking about colors and how they may help for a while now, and the more I share about what I discover, the better I feel when I wear or am surrounded by certain colors. So, I’ve tried to give my family, clients and friends my feelings about how we can relate and use color to our advantage.

Blue is a perfect example of how color works, even when we do not realize it. And depending on the shade you use, the meaning can deepen. The primary use for blue is evident in social media. Blue is very helpful with communication, which may be why Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter all sport a shade of blue. Even corporate or health facilities incorporate the color in their logos. It’s the perfect choice for the intention to connect with people. Some of the ways the color blue can help are as follows:

  • Calming, soothing and great for pajamas and bedroom color.
  • Freedom of expression may come easier.
  • Helps promote stress reduction and better sleep.
  • Useful to those in the writing profession.
  • Insight and inspiration.

So the next time you find yourself needing to talk, discuss, communicate or relax,
remember the color blue. Wear it or include it in some way in your day so you are
encouraging the positive ways blue can be of service to you.
