Here’s another one of mine:

But I don’t want to be a roof consultant…

That’s the problem I’ve been facing, expanding in the same industry capacity for the past few years.  It’s been interesting, exciting, and yeah, stressful. Materials don’t sell themselves…  they have to be sold into designs, into designers and owners visions, into contractors project plans, into legal contractual documents… and they have to perform and withstand over time.

Results?:  i’ve connected individuals and brands, and reshaped projects.  I have the work and life experience to move things forward in the trenches and at the leadership table…. but where I currently bring in the revenue on the front lines is not the role that moves me forward.

I crave more creativity, more critical thinking, more negotiation and cerebral flexibility, more innovation, more partnering and coordination with people… and less routine.  I know which parts of history I don’t want to repeat, and I’m fearlessly taking the step forward to begin a new adventure.

Pivot?:  a well intentioned step towards growth and forging a path to new opportunities.  Less routine and conformity, more interesting and creative ideas… that’s the goal, back to building ideas and teams with the capacity to do something… and working to develop the best in myself and reflecting that on others…

What are you up to, in reflecting the best on yourself and others?
