As the Beatles said “All you need is LOVE”

More than just a catchy tune these words define human purpose. Think about it on the most fundamental level. A child needs nothing more to be happy in this world than to be loved. As we grow older our needs become more complex, but the underlying need for love always remains.

Science also shows that people with strong social networks are happier, healthier and more productive. Our brain even produces oxytocin, more commonly known as the feel-good hormone or the love hormone, when we are connected with others. This is why it feels so good to be together with those we care about.

We are literally programmed to love!

By relating to each other positively in a manner that we would like to be treated, there would no longer be starvation, homelessness, unnecessary depletion of our planet’s resources, wastefulness, abuse, and many of the problems we currently face.

Everyone would receive what they need according to necessity and live a good life because we would approach life and our place in it with consideration of how our actions and behaviors affected others. We would ensure others’ needs were taken care of because we would understand that we exist in a single system and are dependent on each other for survival.
