It’s important to keep in mind that the Scripture is of Divine origin, written through man, all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

When God gave us the Bible, as I mentioned, He used human beings as its authors. Even with this, what I have heard from most people is, “Well, the Bible was written by man”, most say, a white man.

(I hate the distinction of separation of color, but for the purpose of this message, I use it to tell a story for the world who has been conditioned and divided to understand in hope of uniting together.)

But as we read and study the word of God, and truly look at the origin and place where each event took place in the Bible, we will see that it couldn’t be a white man that wrote the entire word of God.

Now, I am not saying that white people was not a part of the events that took place in the Bible, but when you look at where the men and women were from, (their origin) there are a variety of people and flavor.

We should not expect that God would take away the natural human qualities, (by the way, He created in His own image) from the human authors such as their special interests, their own style of writing, even their capacity to make mistakes.

What I love about God and how He orchestrated His message, He didn’t overpower the human authors, of the Bible minds, and hands so that they ceased to be creative writers and instead become the secretaries of God.

In the event of the amazing Incarnation, which is the central event of Scripture in history. God chose not to reveal Himself through a demigod, one far removed from our common humanity, but through One who is perfectly Man, “For this reason He had to be made like His brothers in every way, in order that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that He might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted. (Hebrews 2:17-18 NIV).

God’s influence was gentle, an inspiration of gentle influence which guided the work of the authors as a whole and made sure that the total picture was not fake, false, distorted and that nothing indispensable was omitted. Through the entire Bible, God has always did His work through men, real humans, fallible men like ourselves, and God never allowed the authors not to show their faults as well as their virtues. ■
