What if you were just let go by your employer without cause, the only reason being that you were not part of the movement. Worry not, everything will be okay.
There are many other opportunities available and possibilities for you to explore.
As most individuals are stuck at work majority of their day and bombarded with employer duties, many do not have the opportunity to explore other options and grow towards their true passions in life. So as hard as this may be, use this opportunity to capitalize on your emotional growth and career path.
The process of change can be difficult for many as there comes along the attached fears and anxieties. However, just know that everything happens for a reason and that the universe may just be working to set you up for success. The decision is yours, whether you wish to accept this gift, or throw it away and have a pity party instead.
How often have we been in a relationship in our younger days and thought that this person was the one, but to only realize later they weren’t. How often have we obtained the dream job, but to only realize later that it doesn’t amount to the happiness we expected. How often have we thought that paying off our mortgage would allow financial freedom, but to only realize later that there are many additional unexpected costs. Whatever the case, we have expectations in ourselves and if anything jeopardizes our plans we are bothered. What we must realize is that nothing is truly in our control. One day you can be working and then the next day you may be let go. This is the reality of life.
The most important part of any journey will be the decisions and behaviors that follow an event of this sort.
It is best suggested to always leave on good terms and wish the employer well on their future endeavors. Even though you may not understand as to why you were let go, understand that it wasn’t personal. Furthermore, make a decision immediately afterwards to create a plan of action with the appropriate timelines outlining your action items for the next couple of weeks. Try not to sit in the mental health issues of depression, self pity or anxiety, as this could cause a major delay in your new adventures.
