There’s 77 days left before we celebrate another New Year Eve, the question is how you doin’ with your goals and dreams? On track or off track? Be honest with yourself. For those of you that are on track, kudos to you, you’re part of the 8 percenters. Cheers guys!!! To those of you who came short, you’re not alone there’s 92% with you.

Now I know that no wants to be a failure. No one wants to be mediocre. No one wants to live in constant worry, fear, frustration and a state of anxiety. Are you with me? Something gotta give, right? How about trying one thing differently. One thing that works. One thing that the 8% figured out, that could be the one thing you missed out on.

There is One thing that will close the gap from what “you intended to do” to “what you accomplish”. All the greatest creators through the time share this One thing in common. Can you see it?

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” -Proverbs 29:18

Napoleon Hill self-help author of Think and Grow Rich which promoted in detail the principles to achieve “success” is among the top 10 best selling self-help books of all time said, “Cherish your vision and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate achievements.”

Tony Robbins American author, entrepreneur, philanthropist and world’s greatest life coach. Robbins says, “You’ve got to have a vision — a vision for what it is you really, truly want, not what you think you want or what you should have.” He continues, “A vision that really works is one that excites you…. It has to be a compelling vision. It’s got to have something that has the power to pull you, not something you have to push yourself to do.”

Oprah Winfrey “Queen of All Media” and one of the most influential women in the world said, “Create the highest grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe.”

Simon Sinek Motivational speaker, marketing consultant and author of four of the bestseller Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action said “Vision is a destination — a fixed point to which we focus all effort. Strategy is a route — an adaptable path to get us where we want to go.”

Now, you can keep doing what you’re doing and get the same results day after day, month after month, year after year, or you can try to see differently and give that one thing a shot.

On the first day of creation, God said, “Let there be light”, I say “ Let there be sight”

and show you how to successfully achieve your goals faster by creating a tangible Vision portrait that captures your end destination (goal) you’re seeking to achieve so that you walk by sight towards your outcome and achieve it faster.

Think of it this way, a ship with no destination ends nowhere. A plane with no destination, can’t take off. Same laws apply to human beings. You must first choose a destination of where you’re going if you want to get there. If you don’t have your vision of what you want to achieve first, then you can’t move towards it.

With that being said, let’s create it.

STEP 1 — IMAGINE IT. Choose a goal (destination) you want to achieve.

STEP 2 — SEE IT. Picture yourself “in the image of” the person you wish to BECOME, not who you are today to make it a tangible. Keep your Vision portrait in front of you to remind you of your goal and where you’re headed.

Where FOCUS goes, energy flows. Always, always, always, focus on your goal. Your life is controlled by what you focus on, that’s why you need to focus on your Vision (the person you wish to BECOME). Remember out of sight, out of mind applies here.

STEP 3— ACHIEVE IT. Now you hold onto that picture in front of you and walk with conviction towards your Vision (outcome). Do one thing each day that will take you in that direction of achieving your goal.

Let me warn you, on the road to achievement, you will run into some rough times, where everything in you is going to wanna make you quit. It will “appear” as if success is unachievable and you were doomed to failure.

Chill out, it’s all part of the process. Don’t fall in the quitting trap. Instead, hold on tightly to your Vision, focus only on who you’re becoming and stay undisturbed by the “appearance” of it.

Truth is you’re closer than you think to your greatest success.

Will you see it through?

I encourage you to give your dreams a shot to touch someone’s heart, to light up that spark, to leave your mark in this world by your unique contribution and inspire others to do the same. Remember not to take your gifts for granted, as you are the chosen one to serve the potential that only you have been given.

See you at the Top.
