Ever since my childhood, I have been watching several movies that showed the outer world – space and so many other dimensions. While most of this might be a pure fiction, but space is something that hooked me to it deeply.
I am a person who loves traveling to different places. Be it within India, or anywhere outside the country, traveling has always fascinated me. And when I think of Space, this is truly my ultimate destination which I would definitely love to explore at least once in my life.
What all things do you think fascinate someone when they think of space?
- Planets
- Stars
- Galaxy
- Darkness
- Moving bodies
- Moon and other celestial bodies
- Satellites, and so on.
I don’t know about the rest, but all these definitely capture my interest whenever I see them in movies or anywhere else. But that’s not the only reason I want to go to space.
News about Space
Almost daily, some or the other news keeps cropping up that takes up most of my time. I get so much involved in the news, that I often get scolded for forgetting about my other tasks. Overall, I find them so much intriguing, that whatever information I could gather, I feel privileged.
Not just the news, there are so many space puns or other kinds of jokes available on the internet too which make me laugh like nothing else.
In short, anything about space has the power to keep me engaged. And that is why I want to visit that outer world at least once.
Kalpana Chawla
I was quite a grown up when Kalpana Chawla took her last breath in the space. Before her death and even after, there had been a lot of hype created for her achievements.
And while she was alive, she had become a role model for me. And those thoughts stayed with me for a very long time. I even wanted to become an astronaut thanks to her memories. But that dream couldn’t be fulfilled.
Nevertheless, if not being an astronaut, hopefully I would be able to travel to Space being a civilian itself.
