I have seen, on LinkedIn, a lot recently, people knocking other people’s posts, saying things like – this is not Facebook, this is a professional network.
Saying that their posts don’t “belong” on LinkedIn because they are not “professional”.
Why do we think we need a “professional” persona and a “normal” one?
Why can’t everyone just be who they are rather than putting on some professional facade for LinkedIn, or a meeting, or a networking event.
Being fake is not going to help you get your dream clients, it will just attract fakers – and you don’t want fakers as clients right?
Being open, yourself, and honest – that is what attracts great clients, who love to work with you because they can see from what you write and say that you are not fake, you are showing up as yourself, everywhere, always.
