Rock bottom seems to scare many of us. Many people think that failing and going back to the circumstances they were in is a bad thing.
Well I want to tell you that it is not.
In the midst of hitting rock bottom you will make new discoveries. You will learn that the way you did things in the past was wrong. You will get the opportunity to redefine and re-strategize to win the second time around.
You will also learn a lot about yourself. You will come to understand what kind of a person you are and if you really are passionate enough to try again something you failed at.
Are you a quitter or winner?
Will you learn from your failures or will you let them define you?
It is all up to you.
It is very crucial that you adopt a success mindset if you want to win. That mentality will help you find a way out of your rock bottom.
Failure and mistakes are very powerful. They will make you look deep down and self-evaluate. They will make you look at the world in a different way.
Here’s a story:
A couple of months ago I went to my service provider to get a software update on my phone. It was continually giving me problems and I had just enough of it.
I got there and showed the consultant and he said he’ll get to the bottom of it. He said it will take a couple of hours to complete the update since he had to also charge it to make sure the update runs smoothly- without the phone shutting down in the process.
Hours later I went to fetch it and to my expectation, the update was complete. I gave thanks to the gentleman and then made my way to the car. When I got to the car, I checked if my photos and music were still intact and I found them gone. As you can imagine they were a lot- a year worth.
I could have got angry at the gentleman and regretted the decision of getting the update but I didn’t. I saw that as an opportunity to start over again.
I saw that as a new beginning. He gave me the opportunity to make new memories and store new music. It gave me the opportunity to evolve and discover new avenues.
Starting again is enlightening if you look at it as an opportunity. My data being erased was an opportunity to create new data.
Losses give way for better things to come. You have to apply a great mindset about it and know that rock bottom tastes great. Life is awesome when you see things that way.
Please share with the world to spread the inspiration and message.
