We get it.

There never seems to be enough time in the day. There’s always more tasks being added to your to-do list, and more fires to put out.

The life of an entrepreneur is certainly not as sexy as the media portrays it to be. It’s a daily grind that comes with amazing highs, and certainly its lows.

That’s why it’s crucial for busy entrepreneurs to seek out any products or services that can potentially help you save time, and be more effective.

I’m not talking about business tools that are directly related to your business. In my opinion, the best performing entrepreneurs have to do 3 things in order of priority:

1. Take care of yourself: Being a leader in your industry requires thinking about your business as a marathon, not a sprint. That means you have to take care of yourself mentally and physically for the long term.

2. Continue learning: If you’re not learning, you’re dying. Whether you’re a new entrepreneur or a veteran, there should be a craving to constantly learn new things. Even if it’s not 100% related to your business success.

3. Be more productive: Last but not least, being more effective with the time you have is a must. Especially with a small team, the tasks you invest time into can make or break the direction of your business.

With that said, I’ve curated a list of 9 products (and services) in these 3 categories for you to take advantage of. Enjoy!

Take care of yourself

1.Calm

Helps with: Calming your mind through breathing and meditation techniques.

Meditation has taken the world by a storm in recent years. With studies showing the benefits of calming your mind, such as reduced blood pressure and increased focus, it may be worth your time. Most of us are exercising our bodies, but one would argue there’s a greater investment in exercising your mind.

2. iGOTHAM Eyewear

Helps with: Relieving digital eye strain and headaches from staring at your screen.

Research shows that the average person spends nearly 10.5 hours a day staring at our digital screens. If you’re an entrepreneur, that number is likely (much) higher. The negative effects of long-term blue light exposure is rarely talked about, but it’s becoming increasingly important. Harmful effects include: headaches, eye strain, dry eyes, sleep disruption, and more. One simple way to combat this is to wear quality computer glasses while you work, and before bedtime.

3. 7-Min Workouts

Helps with: Maintaining your physical health in 7 minutes a day.

Not enough time to work out? That won’t be the case with the 7 minute workout system. This free website offers intensive workout programs designed to get your heart beating in 7 minutes.

4. Rype

Helps with: Speak a new language by taking daily 30 minute lessons online with handpicked professional teachers.

Is learning a foreign language on your wish list for 2018? The biggest hurdle for most people when it comes to learning a new language (or any skill) is lack of time. Apart from learning a few new words using apps, most of us don’t have time to attend a class or meet a teacher in-person. Rype is designed to help busy people learn a new language around their busy schedule with real professional teachers online.

5. Audible

Helps with: Listening to books on-the-go.

Listening is the new reading. With all the down time we have being stuck in traffic, waiting for the metro, and working in the office, there’s better ways to maximize those moments. Audiobooks is a great way to absorb new knowledge while working on something else.

6. Blinkist

If you still enjoy reading, you can still save massive amounts of time through book summaries. Blinkist summarizes top non-fiction books to give you the main highlights of the book in 15 minutes or less.

Be more productive

7. Five minute journal

Helps with: Practicing gratitude and keeping track of your goals in 5 minutes.

Enjoying the process is just as important as achieving your goals, if not more. Besides, what’s the point of hitting your milestones if you’re not grateful for them? Journaling has long been known to achieve mind clarity and improved organization. The five minute journal is designed to help you practice gratitude on a regular basis and be more productive.

8. Varidesk

If you’re like most entrepreneurs, you’re probably facing neck strains and back pain from sitting for long periods of time. Not only does this cause inconvenience, it disrupts your productivity over time. Varidesk offers affordable standing desks that you can set up at home or in the office.

9. Calendly

Helps with: Booking 1-on-1 or group meetings without the back and forth.

One of the most time consuming things we do is coordinating meetings on a regular basis. While it may not be significant amounts of time per meeting, these times accumulate. Calendly allows you to integrate your own calendar, and offer a way to have someone schedule a time when you’re free.
