Tell us about yourself

My Name is Alexander Weber also known as Axlek. I was born 1995 in the City of Bielefeld, Germany. I am currently working as a Model and Influencer on Instagram. I worked in the Photography Industry but then found my Passion on the other side of the Camera. There was this new Social Network named Instagram that was popping up that helped me to get me to where I am today.

What gives you energy?

I try to appreciate all the good things like I am never going to experience them again. I know that sounds kind of messed up but you could also describe it by appreciating the things like you experience it for the first time. That and meaningful talks.

What’s your secret life hack?

Share your feelings and worries with Friends and Family. Don’t let them eat you up. Mental Health and Health in general before anything else.

What is your greatest challenges experience and how did you overcome it?

At the age of 13 my Father passed away. It was a hard time for me and my mother. We helped each other out overcoming it and are now closer than ever. I would probably not stand where I am today if that tragic event did not happen. It significantly shaped me in who I am today.

Name a book that changed your life.

I actually do not read that much but if I had to choose I would say “Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook” by Gary Vaynerchuk because it showed me another perspective on Social media.

Tell us about your relationship with your phone. Does it sleep with you?

It’s pretty much glued to my hand. I try to answer almost all of my messages, emails etc. And it also helps me keep track of trends and where the attention is going. So I do not see scrolling on Instagram or TikTok as a waste of time but more of a business research time. And yes I even listen to podcasts on my phone when I try to sleep.

How do you deal with email?

Early in the morning the first thing I will do is get my coffee. After that I check my emails and try to answer every email that I got. Sometimes it takes a little longer if it’s a business proposal that I have to think about.

You unexpectedly find 15 minutes in your day, what do you do with it?

Walk outside. Or message a Buddy that lives nearby to go outside with. It’s always refreshing to experience nature, walk and have a little chat about something random that comes to our minds.

When was the last time you felt burned out and why?

I actually love what I do so there are very view times I really feel down. Sometimes I get lost in the Numbers. Followers, Engagement Rate, Business Deals, Money and so on. I have to get myself out of that state as soon as possible to not worry about those things. Because if you worry, it will show for sure.

When was the last time you felt you failed and how did you overcome it?

It probably was something along the lines of the last answer. To worry about Numbers is like worrying if it’s going to Rain. It’s pointless. No matter how hard you try numbers will fluctuate and if you feel down every time the Numbers go down you will lose. You have to always try to keep your Head in the game and not in the Numbers all the time. There are limits for that.
