Anthony Lapadula fishing

As is the case with most careers, working hard requires some well-earned relaxation and down time. One way that some of the advisors here have found ways to relax, is to engage in one of America’s greatest pastimes: Fishing. Anthony Lapadula and several of the advisors have gotten together after work, on weekends, or whenever time allows, and spent hours chasing the big one on Long Island’s beautiful beaches and shorelines. This blog is a place where we come to share some our exciting experiences with the rest of you and connect with all of those who love the great sport of fishing just as much as we do!

Around the shores of Long Island, we are mostly surrounded by salt water, and many of the fish we target are striped bass, fluke, blue fish, sea bass, scup and many other game fish that inhabit the salt waters. Some of the anglers take fishing a step further and target some tougher pelagic species like Mako shark and tuna. Even with all the salt water surrounding our island, fresh water is still available, and many of us will fish for largemouth bass, blue gills, and perch. When time is short, or we just need some quick relaxation, freshwater fishing is always a great way to enjoy some time off.

Spending time fishing takes many of us beyond the act of just fishing… many of us have come to love and collect some of the history surrounding fishing and Long Island. Many of us will collect old tackle, reels, rods, any fishing memorabilia related to the deep fishing history here.

We love hearing when our clients share the same passion for one of America’s greatest pastimes. Be sure to let us know!
