Belinda Purkiss is a senior vice president and Global Delivery Lead, APAC. With team members located in 5 offices – Australia, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Hangzhou – Belinda’s group delivers operational services in the region and works closely with the Service Hubs and global counterparts in driving service optimisation, innovation and transformation for the COO organisation.
Belinda began her career at State Street within Global Services (GS) fund operations and held roles in portfolio accounting, oversight and client relationship management. She moved across to transition and project management and led the Australian Project Services team from 2006. In 2011, she then transferred to the newly created role of APAC Product Manager for exchange traded funds, financial reporting and deal placement before moving into a regional role as Head of APAC Project and Product Services. More recently, Belinda completed an assignment in Hangzhou China as General Manager Hangzhou and APAC Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining State Street, she held a number of positions within the banking industry covering retail banking, loans, portfolio administration and portfolio analysis.
Belinda is a board member of the SSTZ Board, Hangzhou and a member of the Professional Women’s Network. She has served as a member of the State Street Australia Board, chairman of the SSTZ, Hangzhou Board and led the Australian Philanthropic Committee for 2 years. She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales and is a member of the Australian Graduate School of Management.
