Carolina is a freelance Executive Producer/Producer/Writer currently working on a feature documentary film for Netflix. She recently produced and wrote a thirteen episode podcast series for Treefort Media as well as a hit three-part documentary series about Mexico’s infamous drug lord El Chapo Guzmán for Netflix. Carolina’s first job in television was working as a Talent Coordinator for NBC News Network. Soon after, she began her career as a Producer at MSNBC in their documentary department where she worked on various biographies and documentaries featuring high-profile subjects and historical events. During her eighteen year career as a freelance Producer she has worked for companies such as Vh1, Bravo, A & E, Discovery, History and Netflix to name a few. Carolina graduated from Stockton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication/Literature. During her time there she worked as the Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief of their College Newspaper. Her passion is storytelling. Her focus is telling stories that help educate, motivate, inspire and push conversations about our world, culture and humanity forward. Currently, Carolina lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
