Carolyn has over 25 years of experience working across the disciplines of branding, communications and marketing. In 2017, after almost 10 years at Interbrand, the world’s largest brand strategy firm, Carolyn left as the head of Interbrand’s Canadian business to start her own consulting firm, AUTHENTICA. In August 2019, she was invited to extend the legacy of JourneyWoman, a beloved global women's travel resource founded by the late Evelyn Hannon in 1994 that empowers women to travel safely and well. With the active support of Evelyn’s family, and in the midst of a global pandemic, Carolyn is transforming JourneyWoman into a global brand representing the voices of passionate, mature solo women travellers, expanding into topics such as downsizing, ethical animal tourism, and accessibility and mobility.
