Have you ever had what seemed a totally impossible dream? I'm a huge believer in visualization. I can recall a vision board on my wall when I was manufacturing women's clothing in the '80s in Montreal Canada. What stays in my mind is a photograph of a home on the mountains in a ski resort--a long way away from my ranch home in a glitzy area of Montreal and the factories on Chabanel St. But by the mid-nineties, I had moved my family to Whistler B. C. and spent hours with an architect building that dream home in the mountains. My most recent vision board covered so many topics. Writing and publishing my books. Photography, Mayan ruins, and finding that one-last-lover, my Forever Man. I found my forever man, but fate would have it that he has been living in hospitals for years and we were never allowed to explore all the things that a relationship with him would entail. Travel and photography were a big component besides publishing my novels. I always wanted to visit India. One-by-one, I'm fulfilling all of those dreams. But the biggest one of all is what I'm about to embark upon. I moved to Mexico in 2002 which was considered by many of my Canadian friends to be a crazy move. I thought I would live here until the end of my days. But I was told by medical professionals in 2008 (LOVE, The Beat Goes On) my days were numbered. If you're curious how I used visualization to cure my heart, read the story linked above. The last couple of years I've been saying to friends: my home is wherever I am. I could live out of a suitcase! And that's how it all began. Be careful what you wish for. When you begin to visualize, everything in the Universe aligns to give you what you want. But first, you need to know what you want. My technique is to think it through and act-as-if it's already my reality. I knew I wanted to sell everything, invest, and pack that suitcase in order to travel the world. The first person who saw my condo bought it. I cleaned out the house, and sold or gave away my belongings. I couldn't believe what I'd acquired since 2002 and now I watched almost everything, walk out the door. So far I've booked France, India, Turkey, Israel, and Thailand. From Thailand, I will wing it. I know I will island hope and I want to see some of the major cities like Kuala Lumpur, especially since Mind Valley HQ, are there. Bali is a given, and could well be where I will plant roots for the next part of my life. All my friends would like to say I'm having a mid-life crisis but I assure you that's not the case. I'm on the other side of mid-life. I'm beyond excited to say that I will celebrate my 72nd birthday in Jerusalem. If you'd like to travel with me virtually you can find me on my blogs, and live on FB, YouTube, IG, Linked In and any other network that attracts my attention and yours. I will take you all along with me in my heart.
