Licensed Talkspace Therapist, Jill E Daino, LCSW-R is a New York-Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years experience in the mental health profession. She earned her MSW in 1994 from Columbia University and has graduated from three post graduate programs, one in International Trauma Studies from NYU and the University of Denmark (1999) and two programs at The Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (2002) and Eating Disorders Treatment (2004). In addition to her work at Talkspace she is the co-director at the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia which is a division of the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy. Prior to her opening her private practice in 2000, she developed a hospital based domestic violence program that provided direct services to patients along with education within the hospital and community. Over the course of her career, in addition to direct service to patients, she has supervised graduate interns and staff therapists, developed curriculum and spoken extensively to professional and lay audiences on domestic violence, eating disorders, and compassion fatigue.
