Kate Mihevc Edwards, PT, DPT, is a doctor of physical therapy, a board-certified orthopedic specialist, and founder/CEO of Precision Performance & Physical Therapy. A former endurance athlete with thirteen marathons under her belt, Kate wrote RacingHeart: A Runner’s Journey of Love, Loss and Perseverance to cope with her own experience with a progressive, genetic heart disease known as arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) and to ultimately support others going through similar challenges. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, Brian, son, Andy, and Wiemaraner Austin.
