Kirk Douglas, the legendary star and producer of such iconic films as Paths of Glory, Spartacus and Seven Days in May, has been an outspoken champion of human rights throughout his life. Retired from acting since 2004, Douglas has penned 12 fiction and nonfiction books over the years, the latest of which was published in April, 2017. Kirk Douglas passed away on February 5, 2020 at the age of 103.
