Mamoon is a Partner at Kleiner Perkins. Mamoon is one of the earliest investors in some of the most innovative software companies of recent times including Slack, Box, Yammer, Intercom, Netskope and Figma. Prior to joining Kleiner Perkins, Mamoon was a Co-Founder and General Partner at Social Capital. Mamoon was also a Partner at U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), where he spent six years. He started his Silicon Valley career at Xilinx where he spent six years in various engineering and marketing roles. Mamoon holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, an MS from Stanford University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
