Melissa Miles McCarter is a writer living in rural Southeast Missouri with her husband, step-son and daughter. She’s written numerous articles on feminism, popular culture, infertility, grief, for various publications including The Huffington Post and Yahoo! She has also written various books, including a memoir Insanity: A Love Story, and edited Joy, Interrupted: An Anthology on Motherhood and Loss.
