Sarah Francis is a connector, convener and regular speaker on topics related to corporate governance, board composition, board diversification, talent and social capital. She oversees EY’s strategy, brand positioning and the coordinated approach to serving C-suite executives and boards of financial institutions. She serves as a trusted advisor to public, private, pre-IPO and nonprofit organizations on their corporate governance and leadership transformation journeys and works with CEOs, nominating committees, boards to build and optimize the diverse leadership benches critical to delivering long-term value for shareholders and stakeholders alike. Sarah is passionate about helping the next generation of leaders navigate pathways to the corporate boardrooms and executive suites of tomorrow. She serves on the Advisory Council for the Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women’s Leadership at Villanova University and on the Board of Directors of Marjorie’s Fund, a New York-based non-profit devoted to empowering people living with type 1 diabetes in under-resourced locations across the globe. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Villanova University, where she was a four-year starter on the Division 1 field hockey team. She is a mom to two incredible little humans.
