Journalist
Sarah Little is a journalist and the founder of More to Her Story, a nonprofit organization and storytelling platform for young women and girls who have experienced war, conflict, or marginalization to tell their stories and express themselves creatively. Sarah got the idea to start More to Her Story after she had spent nearly two years traveling to refugee camps in the Middle East and Africa, to document the stories of courageous young women. The United Nations Refugee Agency, as well as other foundations and organizations, has supported her work.
Sarah currently serves as the youngest Social Innovation Fellow at The Lewis Institute of Babson College. Her story has been highlighted by Verizon Media and Enterprising Women, which is America's only woman-owned magazine published exclusively for women business owners. Sarah serves as a Global Ambassador to CouldYou Cup, a nonprofit organization that seeks to normalize menstruation and end period poverty for girls in Africa. Sarah is a contributing writer at VICE, where she writes primarily about women and girls' issues. She also hosts More to Her Story: The Podcast, where she interviews global thought leaders about how to advance gender equality.
