Winni Schindler was born in Bavaria in Germany in 1960 and moved to Spain in 1984. He is a certified and sworn translator, teacher and coach. He speaks German, Spanish, English and French and has basic knowledge of Russian and Chinese.
In 1998 he founded Schindler Servicio Integral de Idiomas S.L., a company that specializes in language services. Since its foundation, Schindler has been working for over 100 organizations, giving more than 370,000 hours of classes and seminars in 9 languages, with an average of 30 teachers from 22 countries.
He has studied coaching with the Spanish Coaching Association AECOP in Madrid, and he has taken courses in positive psychology with renowned experts such as Tal Ben-Shahar, Alex Linley, Robert Biswas-Diener or Ilona Boniwell. In addition, he holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Positive Psychology from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK.
From 2011 to 2015 he was the regional president of AECOP Aragón and from 2014 to 2015 he was Director of Communication and International Relations of AECOP Spain. In that period he helped organize the annual conference, contacted international speakers, coordinated the publication of the AECOP magazine, and interviewed distinguished experts such as the late Sir John Whitmore, David Caruso or Professor Henry Mintzberg.
As well as running his company, he has given over 100 talks and seminars on coaching, wellbeing, motivation and stress management at companies, business schools and at the University of Zaragoza. As a certified senior coach, he has given over 1,900 hours of executive coaching in Spanish, English and German.
He is one of the authors of “Estrategias Transformadoras para la Educación” a book published in 2018 that analyzes emotional development, positive psychology, coaching and leadership, as well as competencies for professional growth.
