This is an except taken from my book on some of the autism spectrum disorder symptoms you can use flower remedies to help in a very profound way.

Sometimes, it is difficult to tell what emotional/mental challenges come from a “diagnosis of autism” and what is inherent inside us. But when working with the remedies, it won’t matter. When I work with clients for children on the spectrum, I make a remedy based on what you are hoping to see changed for your child, not a “cure,” but they symptoms that are holding him/her back from living their best life. No matter what the autism spectrum disorder symptoms diagnosed are, we still have to treat each child, each human, as an individual and focus on their particular challenges.

Forget the diagnosis for a minute. Children on the spectrum share many different challenges with other children and adults not on the spectrum, and yes, there are also unique challenges related to spectrum as well. Whether shared or not, we target each symptom from:
• fears
•hearing voices
•loud noises,
•social anxiety,
•anger and tantrums,
•communication challenges,
•mind always on
•bathroom challenges
•obsessive words
•body movements, and
•each individuals own personal challenges which may be inherited from family.

Every person gets treated individually. You don’t need the diagnosis, you need the symptom(s) they are struggling with. The term is becoming so broad in its diagnosis that more and more adults are diagnosing themselves with autism spectrum disorder symptoms.

There is no “one-size-fits-all” in any one of us. For instance, not every child on the spectrum struggles with being disconnected or angry. One child may seem to be disconnected, in another world, and another maybe struggles with anger, while another child seems to struggle more in crowds and cannot communicate well. So it’s important to respect each child/each person and their individual challenge. Keep your child on remedies monthly. Change or add what comes up it as his most “relevant symptom in the moment when finished with the last remedy you made. You are peeling the onion and watching him/her blossom.

While symptoms vary from person to person, some of the most common I have been asked to help address include (but are not limited to)

•overactive fears
•compulsive tendency
•frustration and anger
•feelings of alienation
•lack of interest in the surrounding physical world
•making good choices
•difficulty with focus
•aversion to touch
•hitting/biting/tantrum episodes

These are only a few of the issues addressed by flower remedies, and there are multiple possible remedies for each symptom. Please refer to my short glossary of possibly remedies to see which remedy connects to your situation.

Let’s discuss some of the symptoms your child may be dealing with and the remedies we use to help.
