What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

I wanted the freedom to chart my own course, and I wanted to empower others to do the same. I wanted to create the life that worked best for me and make an impact on others’ lives, and not be stuck in what others believe but be able to live out what I believe.

I also love the creative part of business, and the thrill of building something that might not work but putting all of your time and energy into it anyway. It’s the thrill of getting to see something you built succeed.

What makes you stand out from others in your field?

People don’t just need tools. They need a blueprint to work from. They need the support to make those tools work best for them. So we don’t just sell people a product; we work with them on how to use it to get the most out of it. Our team is the difference between us and every other company out there.

If you could start over, is there anything you would do differently?

I would double-down on the belief that relationships are the most important aspect of work. That’s always been a core part of our company, but there are always more ways to incorporate that into what we do. I would also delegate out more sooner. I’ve learned that you can’t have your hands in everything all the time and still be effective.
