THIS lady had it dialed in. When we wage war on anything or we rally against anything, or we declare a battle to fight against something, we create more momentum FOR the very thing we are against.
Now, I understand this will seem counter-intuitive to most (welcome to my world) but it is pure truth. It’s what I’ve been teaching in the context of my work, it’s what Mother Teresa so eloquently shared with a simple quote, and it’s what the world needs to course correct — IT IS PURE LOVE. ♥
When we want to change something we must engage in full on LOVE not wage war.
We must flip the script and focus only on the positive outcome.
We must take positive, proactive action instead of inciting riled reaction.
This is not a new concept. I cannot take full credit for it, I can only live it and invite you to do the same.
This doesn’t mean that we won’t be challenged. This doesn’t mean that we won’t get ticked off at circumstances. This doesn’t mean that we won’t feel despair based on world affairs.
We are human. We will FEEL. We will LIVE and hopefully we will LOVE.
I believe we can heal anything with LOVE. And, to do that we must start somewhere.
With ourselves. With our families. With our friends. With our communities. With our world.
♥ Love yourself: Treat yourself well. Be kind.
♥ Love your family: Which often means forgiveness and understanding.
♥ Love your friends: Reach out and let them know how much they mean to you.
♥ Love your community: Get involved. Small acts have big impact.
♥ Love your world: Take care of this precious resource we have been given.
And, yes, I know, life will rock you to the core. It may make you want to wage war but remember… the only thing that ever really heals is LOVE.
Combine love with knowledge and action and we have the power to facilitate great change in the world.
