What does an empowered woman mean to you? Is it someone who takes charge of their life, follows their passions, and empowers others to do the same? That is what an empowered woman means to me. It is someone who can be themselves while making money and have the compassion to help others struggling and to boost them up. The woman that I am talking about today is Haya Elsamman, a woman whose track record speaks for itself as she has done incredible things in the social media space.

Haya Elsamman (@haya on Instagram) came from a traditional family that believed in getting an education and then working the traditional 9-5 job. Yet, Haya saw herself and her passions in a different light: entrepreneurship. At first, she tried multiple small businesses and stores to try and make her mark on the world. Yet, while these were successful, they were not successful enough for the driven Haya to be satisfied. So, at the early age of 14, she found social media and social media management/ marketing and immediately fell in love. I asked Haya why she decided to stick with social media and why she loved it so much and her words were: “Social media intrigues me because I am able to influence massive audiences all from my couch and it gives me the freedom to do various other activities such as horseback riding. It is something that I have grown found of and found a real passion in. Plus, it has allowed me to make multiple 6 figure years all while doing something I love.”

Haya started off with a simple account: a DIY account. Yet, as she started to learn and study the algorithm, she became more advanced in the trade. Suddenly, she started to grow like crazy. Today, she has multiple multimillion follower accounts, manages celebrity pages, and mentors kids for free on the ins and outs of social media. Haya (@haya on Instagram) is really the definition of an all-around amazing woman and social media expert.

Haya told me that one of the biggest things she learned, and what she has taught internationally, is that you have to live your own life. “People need to make their own journeys, their own mistakes, and find their own passions.” This was a quote that resonated with me and really made me think about my life. Was I truly living the life that I wanted? Or was I just in the mere shadow of my parents. Haya related to this and shared how her parents kept her on a strict course and wanted something that she didn’t have passion for. If she didn’t have the courage to do her own thing, she could still be working a 9-5, wondering what her life could have been. It blew my mind how incredibly talented and knowledgeable Haya (@Haya on Instagram) was and how she was so open to sharing insights in order to help others. No wonder she has talked all around the world- the world needs to hear more of Haya Elsamman and her amazing journey.
