Ways To Remain Busy While Staying Indoors

Who says you can’t do anything but aimlessly browse social media and watch Netflix in the time coronavirus has forced you indoors? Sure, there’s nothing wrong with both these options if they make you feel happy, but there are lots of other things you can do to keep your mind occupied.

Here are five ways to remain busy while staying indoors:

#1: Get in touch with your loved ones

Remember all those friends from high school you haven’t talked to in years? Now is the time to rekindle your old relationships. Talk to people who were once close to you but who you weren’t able to get in touch with due to the rigors of daily life.

#2: Give your home a thorough clean

Apart from keeping the virus at bay, a well-cleaned home is also one that makes the (prolonged) stay of its residents more pleasant. So roll up your sleeves, and perform that cleaning chore which you’ve been delaying for the past few weeks.

#3: Take part in your favorite indoor entertainment activities

Recall that movie that your friend recommended to you last month but you’ve no time to check it out? Or the Netflix series everyone in the office was talking about? Or the portable photo booth sitting at the corner of your room awaiting your attention? It’s time to do all those things which you previously wanted to but had no time to partake in.

#4: Make your favorite dish

Provided you’re a person who likes to cook – or even if you aren’t – it’s time to give your taste buds a culinary delight. Consult the internet for the recipe of snacks that you’re craving, and spend the next few hours in your kitchen trying to put that recipe to action.

#5: Practice good hygiene

Just because you are home doesn’t mean that you should become oblivious to the health and safety rules which the government wants everyone to follow these days. That means constantly wash your hands and avoid touching things (like the photo booth for rent) which you aren’t sure are safe to touch.
