At a large networking event, I overheard an extroverted acquaintance say she’d been looking forward to this event all day. Huh?! I’d been dreadingit all day! I noticed how the more crowded and louder the event became, the more energized and outgoing this extroverted woman became, while I was feeling the very life drain out of me.

So the extroverts were thriving and I was barely coping.

When I first created a seminar business as a way to use my teaching abilities in a solopreneur way, I quickly concluded that I’m not cut out to market myself, to show up and do outreach the way I thought I was supposed to do for my business. I decided that there must be something wrong with me. I wanted to hide behind the potted palm.

If this is you, you might be a Resistant Introvert like I was!

Now here I am showing up to the whole world in my bathrobe! And what does my bathrobe symbolize? It symbolizes my Comfort Zone. I’ve come to realize that some of us introverts need to do things in a way that honors our Comfort Zone needs – especially those of us who are energy-sensitive and naturally cautious.

Here’s a quick, fun QUIZ to find out where you are on the spectrum from Resistant Introvert to Gung-ho Extrovert!

I’d love to know what you find out and how it makes you feel…
