It is because his fans are truly impressed with the wonderful transformation of his hair. We can say it a testament to the remarkable results that Conte has been able to achieve with his hair.

Antonio Conte’s Hair Transplant

Conte was just 16 years old when he made his debut in 1986. At that time, he had a thick & fine hair density on his head. But after some years, this thick head of hair was noticeably sparse. Those who remember him during his days as a player can recall how Conte looked when he began losing his hair. He was a popular player in Serie A during that time. He was also representing his country frequently with the Italian national team.

Like most of the people, Conte started losing hair in his late 20s and early 30s. At that time, he was a successful player in the Italian league and he was playing for the Italian national team. He was suffering from hair loss and he was pictured several times that showed all the signs of advanced male pattern baldness

Since retiring as a player and entering the world of management, Antonio Conte has undergone two hair transplant procedures to get the head full of hair that he is enjoying today. After the first hair transplant, Conte’s hair had significantly improved. However, it was still a long way from the masterpiece as it is today.

In 2000, the hair transplant techniques were not as advanced as they are now. After getting the results of first hair transplant surgery, Conte had noticeably thicker hair growth as compared to a few years prior. His hair was not perfect, but the coverage was greatly improved.

There are several pictures floating around of him on the internet. From these pictures, it is very clear that he was previously suffering from a high level of baldness. By 2007, Antonio was back to being bald. Then, he thought of undergoing one more hair transplant procedure in order to restore his hair to its former glory. So, he had undergone 2nd hair transplant surgery to cover the bald areas at the front of his hairline.

Antonio Conte never spoke about his hair transplantation in public, so we cannot say which hair transplant technique he had opted for. It is most likely that he would have opted for the FUE technique. It involves the extraction of individual hair grafts from the back of the head, i.e. one at a time and then, replanting these grafts in the bald areas.

FUE is a recent development, as just six or seven years ago. Previously, the patients asked for the traditional hair transplant method, known as Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT).

If we talk about the more expensive method between the two, then FUE is the one that is a little costlier than FUT. It is because FUE is a minimally invasive method and it takes extra time to carry out the procedure.

Why FUE take extra time than the FUT method?

FUT or we can say the Strip method removes a small strip of hair from the back of the patient’s head, causing a linear scar there. While FUE extracts individual grafts from the donor area, thus consuming more time than FUT.

Though FUE procedure takes more time, but it is a less painful method that causes no discomfort. Also, it results in quick and efficient recovery in less time. Unlike FUT that causes a linear scar on the back of the head, FUE is a stitch-less method that causes almost invisible scars.
