We are social distancing during the coronavirus and are all home with our kids. I’d like to offer some tips that, while beneficial to any work-from-home parent, are specifically tailored to parents who are entrepreneurs, or ParentPreneurs.

Below is a virtual workshop I did with Atlanta Tech Village, Atlanta’s premier startup community; in it, I provide a range of useful tips to help ParentPreneurs during normal times, but especially during social distancing.

Here are the types of tips included in the workshop.

General Tips for ParentPreneurs
There are concerns that are unique to ParentPreneurs regardless of social distancing, like:
1. How to be sufficiently present for the family.
2. How to have good mental health.
3. How to earn enough money while starting your business.

Social Distancing Tips
1. Managing the kids, their school work, and your work.
2. Help with cabin fever.
3. Kids and spouse/partner driving you crazy.

Improving Your Zoom Presence
This matters because we are using zoom more than ever and we need to be as effective as possible while doing so.

Bonus Tips To Get PR For Your Startup
I even toss in three tips that I used to help get my startup featured on the TODAY Show three times, Good Morning America, DIY Network, and more.

Enjoy the workshop video and I hope it helps you better manage working on your business with the kiddos in the mix. And I wish for you to be the best parent and entrepreneur you can possibly be.
