Being a female entrepreneur in today’s highly competitive environment is challenging!

It’s so easy to get overwhelmed and anxious when we are encountered with challenge after challenge as female entrepreneurs, so I turned to some of the most successful women business owners that I know today to see how they overcome challenges, problems, obstacles, and anxiety without getting burnt out.

Here’s what these successful female founders had to say.

Fashion model, CEO, and swimwear designer, Tricia Campbell of GlamourGlamour Swimwear says she has laser focus so she can achieve everything on her to-do list. “Without focus, nothing can get done,” she believes.

Psychotherapist and entrepreneur, Angela Ficken of ProgressWellness.com says her anxiety held her back from taking the steps necessary to grow her business in the early days. “I wanted to wait to figure out the perfect ‘right’ decision rather than just going for something and figuring it out later,” says Ficken.

“After realizing that strategy was not working for me, I started to catch on that I needed to practice what I preach! So, I decided to create small to-do lists that I would tend to each day. Little steps got me to a bigger goal. That helped me organize my thoughts and stay on task. I use this strategy all the time now when I am faced with a challenge or deadline,” she added.

Entrepreneur and conference coordinator, Adrienne Garland of SheLeads Media says that her “biggest challenge is creating a sustainable and profitable business model that allows us to serve both our clients and our platform.”

“Each client is different and has a unique set of needs. We tend to go ‘all in’ when it comes to our clients and we end up becoming, in essence, one of their trusted staff members,” she continued.

When times get challenging, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and want to give up. But it’s those who persevere who rise to the top.
