One of the most remarkable things a person could do is overcome trauma and utilize that experience to grow. People who are able to do this, have the capacity to heal with self-love. Not everyone knows how to achieve it, but the lucky ones have managed to change their lives for the better. Krista Nerestant is one of those individuals who turns trauma into gifts.
Born in the Philippines, Nerestant immigrated to the United States when she was young. Throughout her life, she has endured multiple traumas she has learned to face with a positive mindset and self-love. This has led her to believe in a world of hardship we discover power. Said power, according to this wellness expert, lies within the four bodies of unique self: emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual.
Krista Nerestant’s journey ushered her to become a Certified Spiritual Medium, an NLP Trauma Coach, a Hypnotist, and an Author. Thanks to her experience, she founded Self-ish Lifestyle where she teaches how to demystify the world of spirit and energy. In her work and her advocacy for children and women, she specializes in the Satir Method of Transformational Systemic Therapy. All the work she continues to do aligns with her mission to ignite a surge of positivity in her community in New Jersey where she lives with her child and husband.
One of Krista’s greatest qualities is her passion for helping others overcome their personal traumas. As a positive, authentic influence, and author, she has always looked for different ways in which she could share her story to help others who might be trying to heal and find self-love. With this in mind, she wrote Indestructible: The Hidden Gifts of Trauma which premieres on September 8, 2020.
This author thrives through the power of perspective in archetypes, courage, resilience, and self-love. These topics are discussed in her upcoming book as well as the several challenging obstacles she faced during her journey. Nerestant’s goal is for Indestructible: The Hidden Gifts of Trauma to become a resource for survivors to thrive rather than just survive. According to Jen Rufo, NBA dancer, fitness coach, and GoodBadBehavior Podcast host, who was able to read the book before it comes out, this is possible because “Indestructible reminds you—above all else—to heal.”
As a Spiritual Medium and Neuro-Linguistic Trauma Coach, Krista Nerestant lives between two worlds. She says, “My psychic gifts first revealed themselves to me at the young age of seven. Like most, I hid them very well through rational thinking and objectivity. As the years passed, the visions and feelings intensified through every experience, leading me to finally accept my gifts-it was time to nurture them, instead of hiding them.” It was during this journey she developed her FACE belief which encourages people to face challenges Focusing on their mind, Acknowledging the spirit, Commit to their self-development, and Execute specific techniques with the highest and best energy.
Krista Nerestant is passionate about her mission to inspire, motivate, and teach individuals practical and intuitive techniques to implement in their everyday life to live at their best. Her passion ignited throughout the years as she learned to turn trauma into gifts. She is one of those people who has learned to heal through self-love and use her experience to help others who may be facing hardship.
