The whole world is battling a survival crisis. Everyone just seems to have one topic on their mind- Corona. A huge number of forwards, ranging from innovative to informative to infuriating have infiltrated our digital space. Old apocalypse movies are finding themselves in the spotlight all over again. A while ago, the world was burning. Now, the Earth is healing. My issue, however, is seemingly petty in the grand scheme of things and yet something that is actively on my mind alongside work commitments and household chores.
It’s been nearly 2 weeks since I last met my boyfriend. The romantic in me is itching to break this into days, hours minutes and seconds but it’s way too much math for my brain to comprehend :D. Books and movies have covered all possible conflicts that plague the lovers but haven’t really covered how does the love battle a plague. The endless calls and extensive use of the video calls hardly make up for the proximity. Pillows make makeshift cuddling dummies as the conversations get more and more diverse.
