Shaneh Woods is an entrepreneurial accountant and coach who helps business owners bring their dreams into reality through the Profit First cash management system. Her goal is to impact 5 million people by helping them see their worth and setting them on the path to prosperity. In addition to running her business, Prosperity First, she is a passionate music lover and voracious reader.
What does your company do?
I help spiritual and creative entrepreneurs build innovative, purpose-aligned, financially strong, scalable businesses. As a coach, my mission is to help clients take their business to the next level to become as profitable as possible, all while moving towards their life goals.
My company also offers cash management assistance using the Profit First system. Essentially, you put your money in buckets and give each dollar a job. It’s what I do now and it works wonders. If I had done that from the start, I can’t imagine where my business would be.
What would you say is your definition of success?
I don’t chase success; I chase prosperity. Prosperity for me is, first of all, being unapologetically yourself. Once you’re that, then it’s so easy to unapologetically ask for and receive everything you desire and in greater abundance than you can imagine.
What advice would you give others looking to do what you’ve done?
Do the hard work. When we dive into our issues, we can learn from where we’ve been. What happened to us in the past will lead us to our purpose. The sooner you can do this inner work, the better.
