I was at services recently and they handed out some sayings and some readings. This one really struck a chord with me so I’m going to share it with you.

“We long to change the world, but we rarely appreciate things as they are. We know how to give, but we don’t always know how to receive. We know how to keep busy, but we don’t know how to be still. We talk, but we don’t often listen. We look, but we don’t often see. We yearn to succeed, but we often forget what is truly important.”
Did any of those resonate for you?

I have often found it hard to keep my mind in the present. I am always thinking about the next thing I can, want to, or get to be doing. (I purposefully didn’t include should as an option!)

Want to know a trick I use to help me when my mind gets ahead of me? Listen to this week’s Success Shorty video to find out.
