That time of the year is here again, and you hear everyone making their New Year’s Resolution list, but you have no idea what yours should include. Don’t worry, for some people December is one of the busiest periods of the year, and it’s understandable that you had no time to think about the resolutions for the following year.
If you don’t have to reflect on the year that is about to end, and make a list of resolutions, we have you covered because we created a list everyone can complete.
2020 marks a new decade and you want to kickstart it with achievable resolutions. Don’t stick with general resolutions like saving up, choose something special but not too difficult.
Here are some examples.
Read for fun, and read great books
There’s no Netflix movie you haven’t watched because you’re a binger. Well, it’s time to spend less time in front of the TV, and more in a comfortable chair, reading books. You should choose some titles you think you’ll find fun to read and dive into their pages. Don’t set a goal to read 50 books a year, you can read 10 as long as they are pleasant and great.
Don’t force yourself into reading books you don’t like. From 10 titles you chose, you’ll probably like 7. The other 3 you can place in the library or offer them as gifts to people who find them interesting. Don’t waste energy and time forcing yourself to read books only because you started them.
Take GMAT courses to get ready to apply for a business program
Are you passionate about making your own entrepreneurial idea into a business of your own? Well, it’s the perfect moment to start thinking about getting focused training on business skills. Start with a GMAT course. A teacher will help you discover its mysteries and prepare for a business school entrance test to certify your knowledge. These classes are created to help even the busiest individual quickly gain knowledge and techniques to ace the test.
Bike or walk to work
Why do you squeeze yourself in the subway every morning? Why do you drive your car to work when you know you’ll end up in a traffic jam? You should ride a bike or walk to the office. It’s a great way to exercise, meditate and explore the city. Even if you find it hard to believe, you’ll probably get faster to your destination by riding a bike in a busy town than driving your car. Don’t forget to wear a helmet if you use your bike to get to work, it’s for your safety.
Try clothes in stores
Limit your online shopping. All the clothes look great on a model, but when you try them at home you simply hate the most of them. If you try clothes in stores, you can save money and limit the pollution the garment industry produces every year. You buy fewer clothes and ensure you’ll wear all of them. Try the item in the store, and order it online if you find a better offer for the same clothing piece.
