What’s your backstory?

Andrey Seas has always been a problem solver and strategist. He began his career as a tax consultant helping taxpayers and businesses through tax prep and tax planning. Later, he transitioned into tax resolution. He represented indebted taxpayers and even IRS agents themselves in front of the IRS. His strategies and effective advocacy resulted in millions saved for his clients collectively. At the same time, he was going to law school in the evening to eventually become a tax attorney.

He received honored recognition in Constitutional Law, Torts, Community Property, and Pretrial Practice for getting the top examination scores in his competitive class. He received his undergraduate degree at California State University, Northridge. Everything was going decently well until he got a call at his 9-5 job one day and found out his mother had just suffered a stroke. This led to Andrey quitting his job to take care of his mother and started his first business.

Since he was completely naive about what it took to run a successful business, this path eventually led him to experience depression and anxiety issues that put him in a dark place where he needed to re-evaluate his life and his path. Thanks to his faith and persistence, he eventually realized that he loved marketing and coaching and he abandoned his previous desire to become an attorney, even though he had already graduated from law school.

This led to an obsession to absorb as much information as possible and identify the most important factors that lead to real, sustainable, business growth, while also taking clients of a lot of industries and focusing on getting them big results. At the same time, he worked as a contractor for Clickfunnels, where he was able to help thousands of people with their online funnels.

Today, Andrey has built an independent digital marketing agency called Seas Media that focuses on strategy over tactics. Through paid advertising, sales funnels, email marketing, and consulting, he is able to create significant results for clients that have been burned by all the hype of other marketers who just focus on shiny objects and not timeless, fundamental marketing principles. He is a contributor to magazines such as Funnel Magazine and Chatbot Magazine and was named Emerging Leader of the Year by Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce for his commitment to his community and his expertise.
When Andrey is not obsessively focused on his client’s results, he is consulting internationally for 5 Star Hotels and other businesses. He has also shared his inspiring story on a TEDx talk and continues to grow and pursue the highest form of mastery in the marketing industry.

I know this is not an easy job. What drives you?

I am driven by being a path of perpetual growth and self-actualization. My current path provides me with plenty of mental stimulation, creative opportunities, and freedom to live life on my terms and to make a real difference in people’s businesses and lives. How can I give up?

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? What lessons did you learn from them?

My wife has been by far my most incredible cheerleader and supporter. Through all the ups and downs, she never doubted that I would “figure it out” for a second. The biggest lesson for me was realizing that when I was at my worst emotionally and mentally, she would be at her best because her love and support felt even stronger. So,  it’s important to persevere through your problems because there is always a growth opportunity.

How do you push through your worst times?

Prayer, meditation, journaling, and talking with like-minded people. Gratitude is also extremely important so I make a list of everything that I’m grateful for to immediately change my state of mind and feel better.
