Unlock Brain

The human brain is the most complex part of the body, it governs the entire body and everything it does. Using the body’s natural sensors, the brain gathers all that information and responds to it just as the situation demands it.

Like most of the muscle in our body, a brain is the same, and it can also be optimized to be used at the maximum capacity. From creating ideas to writing a script, there is always something that you need to focus on, having an optimized brain can help in achieving the goals of a person, faster and with more accuracy. Having a brain at its full potential can let you see a new perspective on a problem and potentially solve it. There are many ways a person can optimize their long term and short term functions of a brain, let’s find out those ways.

Exercise

Everybody knows that taking the time to regularly exercise has many benefits for the body, but many people don’t know that exercising also helps your brain. Exercise helps the brain by releasing endorphins that benefit the development of the brain. Recent studies have also shown that regular exercise helps in building new cells and blood vessels in the brain, thereby increasing the size of the frontal and temporal lobes, which are responsible for controlling the body, planning and retaining memory. Exercising regularly not only helps in the long run but in the short run, exercise also helps by providing an ample amount of oxygen into the blood so that the brain works at maximum efficiency.

Get Enough Sleep

Sleeping is an essential part of the body in which it grows and repairs the systems. Research has shown that the nervous system of a human body needs sleep to function properly. During sleep, there have been studies that show that the production and breakdown of the body’s protein increase exponentially. Sleep is also required for the brain because it consolidates the memory and the learning from before, turns it into long term memories, if a person doesn’t get enough sleep, the frontal lobe of the brain starts to decrease, the frontal lobe of the brain controls your working memories, which starts to decrease as the size of the brain decreases due to the lack of sleep.

Eat Well

There should be no doubt that the brain needs an ample amount of nutrition and vitamins to perform at its optimal power. There are multiple foods like eggs, chocolate, broccoli that are known to be the best foods a person can consume and achieve a better brain. These brain foods are highly effective in improving the memory, mood, concentration of the human body.

Stay Social

Research suggests that people that are more social and have friends have decreased signs of Alzheimer’s. The key to improving your brain functions is to increase the number of positive experiences in your life. Doing and enjoying pleasurable activities, increases and stimulates the left prefrontal cortex of the brain. Doing something fun with your friends and family, celebrating accomplishments, are essential for enjoying your life and stimulating the brain to produce more endorphins and other feel-good hormones in your body making it feel happy and awake.

Eliminate Stress and Meditate

Stress is the body’s way of responding to any type of threat and danger, stress is a type of defense mechanism for your body. But stress hormones are dangerous for your brain as it kills its brain cells. Stress needs to be managed so that it does not damage your brain.

Meditation is an activity that reduces your stress levels, prevent many disorders and keeps your mind calm and focused. Meditation is known to increase cerebral blood flow and activate certain parts of the brain to improve concentration, focus, and mood. Meditating almost 10 to 15 minutes a day can increase cognitive abilities to enhance the potential of your brain.
