As a part of my series about strong female leaders, I had the pleasure of interviewing Rachel Davis. Rachel is a Master Confidence and Relationship Expert who specializes in helping high-powered, career-focused women win in love so they can have the passion-filled and safe love life they desire. Rachel is masterful at teaching women how to hone in and exude über femininity by tapping into their personal power and becoming comfortable with their feminine self.

As a Fortune 500 executive in a male-dominated industry, Rachel spent more than 20 years of her adult working career in the trenches of corporate America climbing that proverbial ladder, only to bump her head repeatedly against the glass ceiling. During her tenure in the cubicle jungle, she successfully leads teams, projects, and work initiatives without out ever compromising her femininity or diminishing her womanhood. Her experience has provided her with invaluable perspectives that enable her to be an effective leader, thoughtful communicator, coach, mentor, and a champion for women who are seeking to fulfill their purpose, with confidence.

Rachel has not always been successful in love. With a failed marriage in her past, she was determined to learn from her past mistakes, heartache, and tears. When she found herself married for the second time, to the man of her dreams, she was determined to make this marriage work…. Rachel went on a quest to learn all she could learn about men, and that is when “It” happened. “It” is a complete and thorough education around understanding “Men.” With that education, she became a powerful force in her marriage. Rachel was able to cultivate intimacy, passion, safe communication, deep understanding, mutual respect, honesty, trust, success, kindness, integrity, dependability, laughter, generosity, romance, faithfulness, and unconditional love.

Once mastered, Rachel became determined to share what she has learned with women all across the world.

Rachel is leading an entire generation of women from a stagnant place of mediocrity to a higher level of greatness, to be in tune with their highest self and attract the man of their dreams all while creating an environment that will get his heart beating to her rhythm. Rachel’s goal is to add more value to your world than you’ve ever dreamed possible. Her coaching and training strategies give you the tools you’ll need to send your love life to new heights, thus creating radical change in your ability to make an impact, effortlessly connect with men, manifest your confident self, all while falling in love with the person you’ll become.

Thank you so much for doing this with us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

For as long as I can remember, I have always been a lover of love. It wasn’t until I got married for the second time that I made the decision to do all I could to make my marriage work. I began to study and learn about the differences between men and women, how they are hard-wired to live and interact with each other, understanding different personality types, the evolution of a man and what their wants and needs were. In addition to that, I wanted to learn how to teach my husband how to meet my wants and needs in a gentle yet effective way..

Once I learned all of this juicy information and created a successful and loving partnership in my marriage, I was encouraged by countless women I helped to take my techniques and message to the masses.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you became a relationship expert?

When you are in the love, sex, femininity, relationship, marriage, and partnership business, every day, in this line of work, bring with it a ton of interesting stories. The one that immediately comes to mind is a recent conversation I had with a very good friend, who is not a client. She started explaining to me challenges she had been having with her husband as of recent, and I immediately went into coaching mode when all she wanted was Rachel, her friend. Every day I am presented with opportunities that heighten my awareness of how I can best serve my tribe and be sensitive to the way they need to be served. I’m excited to see how I continue to grow in helping women who struggle in the area of love.

Can you share a story about the funniest mistake you made when you were first starting? Can you tell us what lesson you learned from that?

In this line of work, mistakes are not often looked at as being funny. But there is one interesting situation I found myself in where a young woman who was married at the time came to me for advice on how to end her marriage. She had fallen in love with someone else, a woman and wanted to end her marriage in a way that would create the least amount of hurt and trauma to her husband. Usually, people who are interested in being in a relationship or wanting the keep their current relationship full of love and passion would seek me out, not to end it.

What event do you have coming up next?

My flagship event is called Demystifying Men and I am doing a 3 city tour this fall. We are headed to NY/NJ, Atlanta and Charlotte.

Are you working on any new projects?

I am currently writing my book titled How to Demystify Men. I am excited about this book as it will be a game changer for women who are interested in learning more about men.

What advice would you give to other female athletes or leaders to help their team to thrive?

Stay focused. Don’t compare yourself to others and take consistent action. Time waits for no one and you’ll be happy you took action today enabling you to go further versus taking time for granted and reaching your desired destination later.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story about that?

I am immensely grateful for my husband. He has been a constant support system from day one. He truly wants me to be legendary. He has so much confidence in me, my message, and my work that he does not let me fall, nor does he allow me to quit on myself. He truly is my rock. Without his constant encouragement and push, it’ll be easy to lose focus and not keep my eyes on the prize; which is me impacting the masses.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I believe my purpose, my mission, is bringing goodness to the world. I am helping women heal, where part of that process is identifying that significant emotional event that derailed their vision and perspective of love. Doing this work enables women gain a better understand men, but most importantly, helping women better understand themselves.

Can you walk us through a day in your life? What time do you get up and what do you typically do throughout the day?

I wake up every morning and start my day by expressing gratitude for granting me the gift of another day. I then spend time in prayer and meditation. That time is necessary for me to get clarity on what needs to occur that day and also to receive the divine downloads to help guide me. Then, I take the dogs out, breathe the morning air, and tend to my garden. Those activities allow me to get centered. After that, get started with my day, which consists of meetings, conference calls, planning, filming, teaching, and coaching.

You are a person of great influence. If you could inspire a movement that would bring the most amount of good to the most amount of people, what would that be? You never know what your idea can trigger. 🙂

If I could inspire a movement, it would be to for lovers and couples to spend time passionately kissing each other for 5 minutes a day. You would be surprised how much little and tedious things that would bother you about the other person would melt away if you engaged in passionate kissing daily. The kicker is allowing the kiss to create arousal and then act on it. Could you imagine a world where people who are in love passionately show their love? It would be magical.

My favorite Life Lesson Quote is Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you where there was once walls.

I believe in doing what feels right to you. When it feels right, that’s because it is.

Some of the biggest names in Business, VC funding, Sports, and Entertainment read this column. Is there a person in the world, or in the US with whom you would love to have a private breakfast or lunch with, and why? He or she might just see this if we tag them 🙂

If I were to tag someone in hopes of them seeing this column, it would be Oprah Winfrey. If I could have a conversation with Oprah about life and how she overcame her personal obstacles in life, I am certain it would change the trajectory of my life.
