Have you ever felt calmed down just after seeing something unexpected? If yes, then you too have experienced the magic of sight. What eyes and perception can do to your mind, mood, health and your life. Though all the senses are important and loss of even one for even a few minutes can make one feel powerless and incapable. We have noses to breathe and to enjoy pleasant smells and to differentiate the smells which we should stay away from (like a leaking gas pipe), ears to hear and to help maintain the balance, you didn’t know that? Well now you do. Skin to sense touch and also to protect our body. So in short we can say that all the senses that we have, perform multiple functions. But what do eyes do? We know that we can see from them but what else? It turns out that those delicate balls of wonder are really amazing. Many articles can be written with just your eyes. There is just so much information. Like

1.You wanna project emotions while hiding most of your face, eyes will do the job.
2.You wanna ease tension, tears are here to carry it out for you while also cleaning your eyes.
3.Do you know that you can even see UV light? The lens in our eyes filters it out, so if the lens is removed, you can see things which other humans can’t. Like in this picture, for example.

Right side of the image is what we can see from the normal human eye. Left side is what is seen in UV light. The difference is amazing, right? Bats, bees, etc are some of the animals which can see in UV light and don’t have a filter in their eyes like we do. Hence, they are capable of easily detecting pollen.

So in short, eyes are wonderful and a lot can be said just on this topic. And as a sweet aroma can kick out bad thoughts, the same and with more intensity, can be achieved by calming images. If you are into nature photography you will know what I am talking about. Most of the travellers, explorers and discoverers are on the hunt, because they enjoy what eyes has to offer to them. Images can have a powerful effect on the mind of a person. Gory images can scare and depress a happy man and vice versa. Don’t worry, we won’t be talking about anything gory here. Only images that are soothing and are easy on eyes and mind. Have a look.
