How I am organizing my spiritual life daily.

I am Kiki and this is my first post on the Thrive community. Earlier this month I updated Arianna about my life: “I am on the next adventure. I am collecting Social Security at age 62 and am pursuing BlackHistoryEveryday.com, my podcast KikiTalks and as I am billing myself after you, my hero, KikiPosts.com, I am the Black lesbian Arianna Huffington”.

I added “Any words of wisdom?”

Arianna kindly replied thanked me and shared advice on starting a business. She invited me to join the Thrive community and cross post pieces from my sites on anything related to the Thrive themes.

So here we are with my first post about “spiritual organization”. It occurs to me that as I spend time organizing my closet, I should also spend time organizing my spiritual life.

The current configuration of spiritual organization that works for me is simple: on a daily basis I ground myself with readings: #empowered Ninety Days of Enlightenment, Encouragement and Spiritual Inspiration by Pamela Grimm; Acts of Faith Daily Meditations for People of Color 25th Anniversary Edition with new material by Iyanla Vanzant; The Book of Awakening Having the Life you Want by Being Present to the Life You Have by Mark Nepo.

I am also taking several courses: The Creation Frequency Course Online; Foundations; From When We Came; Ministerial Collaborative Home Study; and Intro to Playwriting.

I am a member of and am on the video ministry and online ministry at Heart and Soul Center of Light and am co-president of the board of ElderPride, a focused ministry of Centers for Spiritual Living.

It is a journey and it is better organized.

What do you do to be spiritually organized?

Aloha
