Did you ever wonder about the significance of the colors we surround ourselves at this time of year? The key colors, almost standardized by now, are red, green and white. They are pretty and very striking, and they also carry a very high vibration of the spirit.
When we focus on a certain color, we embrace that energy in a way that affords us a more positive vibration to carry along with us. I have been working with, and teaching about, the connection of color and energy for decades and I am often called upon as an expert to help decipher the meanings and correlation of adding color to the energy we have available to us every day in work and/or play. Color plays an important part in the dynamic of how we create our day and how we are inspired during that day.
As the holidays approach, color can offer us a positive advantage to help minimize stress while inspiring the celebration. Here are three colors to inspire you.
Red is the most striking and the one we associate the most out of the above three. In fact, most people will gravitate to red first as a representative of the season.
But, what do these colors mean, and how can we embrace them to inspire us so that we feel only the positive energy they convey? Red can raise anger, but it can also create love. Green often means money, but it can also promote healing. White is about clarity, but can also indicate new beginnings. Here are my feelings regarding these three colors and how they can make your holiday even more positive.
Red
This Red is about passion and joy and the ability to see the good in the things that surround us.
Green
This time of year, we often miss loved ones who have passed on. Incorporating Green in your table setting will promote healing, and may even offer some closure.
White
No matter what is going on in your life, White will help you see beyond your limitations and will offer the kind of clarity that will inspire a sense of love and family.
These colors are usually incorporated in your feast as a matter of course. However, in case you want to focus some special attention on their energy, include the colors in your place settings, candles, even the clothing you wear! Choosing the right colors will help you embrace positive energy.
God bless and Merry Christmas!
