As I write this article, there is a patient at the hospice who is currently writing a thesis proposal and is to present it before the year ends. He is an adamant fellow. A guy who has refused to give up in life. Yes, he might have been referred to the hospice after his cancer was found to be at its terminal stage. But he has something to live up for.

Once he is done writing it on some foolscap papers, he will then hand it over to me to type and print it. It is one of the best and most awe-inspiring jobs that I will have done this year.

So many people have discouraged him saying that there is no need to overburden himself with the project. He is dying anyway. But there is something about the man that has really touched me. He always say that we are all on a dying journey; with cancer or without, we are all on the same path. But we really need to leave a mark as we meet our end. So, how does the man cope?

Hope and dreams

The man is a dreamer. He is audacious and this is what has kept him going although doctors felt that he had less than 6 months to live. Well, he is defying death, most people will say but it is his sheer dreams and hopes that keep him from giving up and allowing the grim reaper to just take him away.

Beating anxiety

Cbd oil has been found to be a great ingredient for fighting anxiety in cancer and Parkinson’s patients. This man tells me that he is taking CBD 250mg Hemp cannabinoid extract.

CBD or Cannabidiol is extracted from Cannabis plant and is the non-psychoactive component which has virtually no relation to the high which the same plant provides. THC which is responsible for the high is only present in trace amounts in CBD and sometimes completely absent (CBD isolate).
Although some people opt for this THC free CBD, the best effects have been observed from Full spectrum CBD contains essentials like terpenes & all the cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant including CBD(Cannabidiol), CBN (Cannabinol), CBG (Cannabigerol), and THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin), to name a few. It also contains trace amounts of THC(Tetrahydrocannabinol) amounting to 0.3% which has minimal psychoactive effect.

Both the Isolate and Full spectrum variants have their own effectiveness and should be used after careful research and prescription. The biggest reason why you should use are its numerous health benefits and its ability to replace artificial supplements. Using CBD in your food preparation can help you get these vital trace essentials which can keep you healthy in the long run.
