You wake up in the morning and your mind is already racing? Or, maybe you didn’t sleep well at all. There is just so much to do – and worry about! Bills to pay. Family issues. Health threats. Aging parents. Grocery shopping. A running toilet. An unpredictable car. A gloomy weather forecast. Heavy traffic. You turn on the news to find out what else is going on in the world, and you get pummeled with more depressing alerts. Forest fires. Tornados. Hurricanes. Civil unrest. Bullies. Assaults. Terrorist attacks. Angry politics. Viral outbreaks.  Oh no, it’s flu season again. Should I get a shot? What am I supposed to do?

If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone. Everyone has challenges. Everyone has issues to deal with. No one has total and complete peace of mind. Well, almost no one.

This article is about that tiny percentage of people who do not worry – people who live in peace, rather than wait to “rest in peace.” These are the people I call Miracle-Minded Managers. Perhaps you know one. These are the people who look at life differently, who never seem to get worked up about anything. It isn’t that they don’t care. We do care. We simply recognize that anxiety and stress are illusions of the mind, illusions that the body holds to be true and responds to with stress. And we recognize that worrying about things we have no control over only weakens our immune system and invites illness. Dis-ease triggers disease.

When we stop and examine where stress is coming from, a negative projection of the mind, and we take ownership and responsibility for what we think, we take control of the only thing we really have any control over – our mind! Think of this like changing the channel on the radio. We hold the dial. If there is something playing that agitates us, we shift our thinking to something else. We are never upset because of some external situation or person. We are only upset because of what we think of that external situation or person. So, if something is bothering you, change the channel. Change your mind. Take charge. Think of something else. Find something positive and peaceful to think about. For example, start with gratitude. Dial into something you are thankful for.

Why is this important? Because what we hold in mind affects our feelings. So, if we imagine something scary, we feel scared and our bodies respond by triggering stress hormones. Now we have proof that whatever it is we are thinking about is scary! We always find evidence to prove that what we see in the mind’s eye is right.

More importantly, when we trigger a negative feeling, we send a negative signal out from our heart center and this signal calls for a similar response. This is called the Law of Attraction. Like vibrations attract like vibrations – energetically. Misery loves company. Therefore, if we are emitting a dark, negative energetic frequency, we are calling for dark, negative outcomes in our lives. We are blocking health and well-being because these frequencies only connect with signals of health and well-being. Like attracts like. Feelings of gratitude call for more to be grateful for.

The next time you are feeling anxious, nervous or afraid, stop and examine your thoughts. What are you thinking that is triggering this reaction? Are you imagining you might lose something of value? Your health? Your job? A loved one? Are you afraid you might go broke, or hurt yourself? Whatever it is, recognize that it is simply a negative projection of your mind. Now try shifting your thinking. If you are healthy, embrace the fact that you are feeling well. Why worry about something that may never happen? If you are sick, imagine yourself getting better and feeling great. Use your mind and imagination to signal positive outcomes. Think appreciation and gratitude. Embrace the Law of Attraction and direct it in a miracle-minded way. Call for evidence that life is good!

We reap what we sow. And what we sow starts in the mind’s eye and works through the heart. Find and embrace the miracle you are, believe it, and miracles will unfold in front of you. Co-create the life you desire without doubt. Let go of victim consciousness and live the life of a champion with holy consciousness.
