I know this is not an easy job. What drives you?
My goal is 10,000 units and $1 billion assets under management. My goal is to continue to help people achieve success and get them what they want which will allow them to help support me in my vision.
Most importantly, continuously learning and improving is great because it makes the impossible that seems out of reach possible. Being the CEO I have a lot of responsibilities and it is important for me to be strong for my team and those people around me.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? What lessons did you learn from them?
I have been fortunate to meet these people in person and I realized that for the most part we have similar philosophies in how we operate our businesses. Through Gary Vaynerchuk, I realized the value of building a personal brand and sharing your stories on all social media platforms (both successes and failures). If you are able to openly share your failures, then no one can use it against you and you are able to continue powering through and moving forward.
Through Grant Cardone, you learn to make decisions quickly and that speed matters. If you take too much time to contemplate on a decision, you may lose out on that opportunity. While you continue to debate if the glass is half full or half empty, I drank the entire glass. Third, I learned the art of operating real estate through the Lifestyles Unlimited network- Del Walmsley the Founder.
How do you push through your worst times?
Everyone has choices and I make it a priority to feel amazing. Are there times where things don’t work out ? Absolutely. I remind myself that mistakes are part of the game- you learn from them and move on.
I take things one day at a time and use my experiences and lessons to continue to evolve and grow as a person. Don’t judge yourself over one mistake or failure- learn, evolve and grow.
Time is the ultimate judge!
